SYNOPSIS
The action is set in the first third of the 17th century, in a cave on the outskirts of Cartagena, where a renowned actress, who left the stage in the middle of a performance to become a hermit, recalls her life and reflects on the reasons that kept her from fame and the admiration of her audience.
Throughout the performance, the actress reviews the performance she was giving in Valencia, the Corral de la Olivera, when she decided to exchange the glory and recognition of the stage for the solitude and silence of her retirement.
